Job Title:
Makeup Artist Department:
Haunted Camelbeach Attractions Reports to: Haunted Attraction Supervisor Transform performers into terrifying characters! As a Makeup Artist, you'll use creative makeup techniques, prosthetics, and special effects to help create an immersive haunted attraction while maintaining efficiency and consistency throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply theatrical, special effects, and character makeup to performers. Apply prosthetics, fake wounds, aging effects, and other specialty makeup as needed. Assist with wigs, facial hair, and costume finishing touches. Maintain sanitation standards for all makeup tools and products. Organize makeup stations and inventory. Perform touch-ups throughout operating hours. Assist in developing character looks and maintaining visual consistency. Follow all health and safety procedures regarding cosmetic products. Comply with all Company and departmental safety standards. Follow Company dress code. Adhere to the Customer Service Standards of Camelback Resort and all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Follow seasonal and daily Service Guidelines and Checklists. Communicate effectively with all Camelback Resort team members. Actively support all Company initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience with theatrical, cosplay, film, or special effects makeup preferred. Creative attention to detail and artistic ability. Ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Strong organizational and cleanliness habits. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable standing for extended periods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to speak and read the English language.
