We are looking for a talented and experienced Professional Makeup Artist to teach our stand-alone Hybrid Makeup Artistry Program. This program combines online education with in-person, hands-on training. The ideal candidate has professional experience in bridal makeup, airbrush makeup, and special effects (SFX) and is excited to share their skills and real-world industry knowledge with aspiring beauty professionals. Applicants must hold a current Michigan Cosmetologist or Esthetician license. What You'll Teach Our Makeup Artist Instructor will provide online and in-person education in areas including: Bridal makeup - natural, soft glam, traditional, and full glam Airbrush makeup techniques and equipment Special effects (SFX) makeup Skin preparation and product selection Color theory and corrective makeup Techniques for different skin types, skin tones, and face shapes Lash application and finishing techniques Professional makeup kit setup and organization Sanitation, disinfection, and infection control Client consultations and professional practices Industry tips and real-world makeup artistry techniques You'll demonstrate techniques, guide students through hands-on applications, provide constructive feedback, and help students build the confidence and Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
