Job Description
Company Overview Vintage Park Salon is an upscale, award-winning salon located in the popular Vintage Park area of northwest Houston. The salon has been in the same location for over 15 years and serves a growing clientele that counts on an outstanding total beauty experience. We are seeking an eyelash technician to join our exceptional team. Essential Duties
- Apply individual eyelash extensions using various techniques (classic, hybrid, volume) to enhance natural lashes.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired style, eye shape, and lifestyle to recommend suitable lash lengths, curls, and volume.
- Perform refills (fills) to replace grown-out lashes and safely remove old extensions.
- Instruct clients on proper aftercare to maintain lash health and longevity.
- Maintain a clean & professional workstation according to health & safety regulations.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude to help provide an incredible client experience and generate repeat business.
- Stay up to date on current industry trends as well as the services & various retail products offered by the salon.
- Assist with support duties in the salon as needed. Qualifications and Experience
- Must have an appropriate license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR). These include Cosmetology Operator, Lash Extension Specialist, Esthetician, Manicurist / Esthetician, or Hair Weaving Specialist / Esthetician.
- Specialized training in eyelash extension application techniques. Previous experience in an eyelash studio is preferred.
- Sharp attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and steady hands to perform high quality eyelash extensions.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and fellow team members.
- Pay ranges from $15 / hour or commission-based.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
