Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Nail Technician to join our team at a busy nail salon in Culver City. This is a full-time position, requiring availability from Monday through Sunday, with at least one weekend day included. As a Nail Technician, you will have the opportunity to earn 60% of sales with a minimum weekly guarantee of $900 plus tips. Responsibilities:

• Paint fingernails and toenails with precision and creativity
• Clean, cut, and shape nails to perfection
• Provide personalized recommendations on colors, designs, and nail enhancements based on clients' preferences
• Skillfully remove existing polish and prepare nails for new applications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beauty station between appointments
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sterilized before each use
• Educate clients on additional services available and any promotional offers
• Administer relaxing hand and foot massages during treatments
• Share expert tips on nail care to help clients maintain healthy nails
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by engaging with clients, building rapport, and remembering their preferences
• Actively promote and upsell various treatments and beauty products as appropriate

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist, or similar role
• Proficiency in a wide range of nail techniques including Manicures/Pedicures, Acrylics, Gel-X, and Dipping Powder
• Knowledge of current cosmetology trends in nail art and design
• Understanding of sanitation practices and sterilization standards for maintaining a clean work environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional client experiences
• Current Nail Tech or Cosmetology License is
