Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including classic manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and intricate nail art designs. Conduct relaxing pedicures that promote foot health and client relaxation. Apply esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser treatments to enhance overall client appearance. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care products, and upsell retail items to enhance their experience. Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and new product offerings to deliver innovative services. Manage retail sales efficiently using retail math skills while providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care principles, and various application techniques including gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions. Experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures. Excellent communication skills for client consultation, understanding preferences, and providing personalized recommendations. Ability to perform diverse beauty treatments such as pedicures, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and eyelash extensions. Retail sales skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction. Knowledge of cosmetology practices combined with strong customer service orientation. Familiarity with salon safety regulations including disinfection procedures and sanitation standards necessary for a hygienic workspace.
