This vital role combines clinical duties with some administrative support (80% back office clinical work/20% front office dutie), ensuring seamless patient experiences in outpatient setting. Responsibilities Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as trimming toenails. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and sterilization standards are maintained Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information accurately and manage appointment scheduling Support diagnostic procedures including taking X-ray of lower limbs. Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments, verifying insurance details, and providing excellent patient service throughout their visit Experience Prior experience working as a medical assistant in any outpatient or inpatient settings. Podiatry experience preferred Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology is essential for effective patient care support Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Demonstrated competence in using EHR systems and managing intake procedures in fast-paced healthcare environments Graduate of medical assistant program with certification preferred (certified medical assistants will receive higher pay) Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication enhances patient outcomes every day!
