Job Description
Overview Hammer and Nails Bethesda and Potomac are luxury men's grooming lounges that provide high quality haircuts, beard grooming, straight razor services and hand and foot care. Our shops are membership based which means steady clients, consistent bookings and predictable income. We focus on precision, professionalism and hospitality through our Golden Standard training. Nail technicians who want stability, growth and a modern upscale environment succeed here. Key Responsibilities Perform professional manicures, pedicures, and grooming treatments according to Hammer & Nails service standards. Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds Member expectations. Educate Members on proper nail, hand, and foot care. Recommend products and additional services that enhance the Member experience. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation in accordance with Maryland State Board of Cosmetology regulations. Properly disinfect and sterilize all implements and equipment between each service. Maintain accurate client service records when appropriate. Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to provide outstanding service. Assist in maintaining a clean and professional appearance throughout the shop. Build and maintain long-term relationships with Members through exceptional service and professionalism. Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and training sessions. Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture. Meet productivity, retail, and guest satisfaction goals established by the shop. Compensation and Benefits $20-$30 per hour plus commission and tips W2 employment, no booth rent High booking volume from our growing membership base Paid training and ongoing skill development All tools, equipment and products provided Professional environment with leadership on site Requirements Current Maryland Nail Technician License in good standing. Previous experience performing manicures and pedicures preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to sanitation and safety. Passion for delivering luxury guest experiences.
