Responsibilities Provide a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and care. Apply color theory principles to create custom nail designs that match client preferences and current trends. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience. Educate clients on proper nail care routines and recommend retail products to enhance their beauty regimen. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene while adhering to all health regulations related to sanitation and disinfection procedures. Assist with retail sales by promoting products such as nail polishes, skincare items, or other beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Experience Previous experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated newcomers. Knowledge of nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and advanced nail care techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures is essential. Strong communication skills to connect with clients effectively and provide excellent customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, or retail math is a plus for those interested in contributing to salon growth.
