Duties Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that enhance each client's style Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails Engage in retail sales by recommending products such as nail polishes, treatments, and tools to meet client needs Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices Requirements Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related field Proven experience working as a Nail Technician in a salon or spa environment Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols, disinfection procedures, and salon safety standards Skilled in applying gel manicures, acrylic nails, nail extensions, and performing pedicures with attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and current industry trends such as eyelash extensions or body waxing is preferred Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a positive client experience Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your talent transforms nails into works of art!
