Conduct pedicures that promote healthy foot and nail care while providing a relaxing experience for clients. Apply and maintain nail enhancements using techniques such as acrylics and other advanced methods like dip powders or gel overlays. Utilize color theory knowledge to recommend suitable shades and designs that match client preferences and current trends. Ensure strict adherence to salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products or additional services when appropriate. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques such as eyelash extensions or dermabrasion, and new product offerings to enhance service quality. Take over an existing clientele. Commission or Contract pay. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required. Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of nail care, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols. Skilled in various techniques including gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, and pedicures. Familiarity with color theory, retail sales strategies, upselling techniques, and client communication skills. Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
