Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and creativity Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products when appropriate Ensure proper disinfection of all equipment in accordance with health standards to guarantee a safe environment for clients and staff Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on new techniques like dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments Assist with retail sales by recommending products such as nail care essentials, body waxing kits, or hair styling accessories to enhance the client experience Requirements Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols Skilled in applying acrylic nails, gel manicures, nail extensions, and other advanced nail techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Knowledge of color theory, nail care practices, and current trends in nail art and design Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform detailed work efficiently Join us today to unleash your creativity in a lively environment where your skills make a real difference!
