Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry. Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and preferences. Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, eyelash extensions, hair threading, body waxing, and laser treatments as part of comprehensive spa offerings. Maintain strict adherence to salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and cleanliness to ensure client safety at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with every service. Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty tools to enhance client results and support retail sales goals. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and beauty treatments to offer innovative services that keep our spa at the forefront of industry standards. Requirements Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions. Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and client hygiene standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and empathetically. Knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs tailored to individual preferences. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations. Familiarity with additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, hair styling or hair extensions is a plus. Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Strong organizational skills including retail math for product sales tracking and inventory management.
