Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and talented Nail Technician (Educated in Dazzle Dry and Madam Glam) to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail extensions, all while providing outstanding customer service. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best, ensuring a memorable salon experience. Our clients are wonderful people the staff is easy to get along with. It is 50% commission plus tips plus 12% retail sales. Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to create custom nail designs that match clients' preferences and trends Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable nail care treatments and retail products Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare to promote healthy nails Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Stay current with industry trends including esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, and other beauty services to broaden your skill set Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, acrylic application techniques, gel manicures, and sanitation standards Familiarity with salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and proper sterilization of tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related fields as required by local regulations Strong understanding of retail sales principles including upselling techniques and retail math skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us if you're eager to bring your creativity to life through stunning nail designs while delivering top-tier service!
