Responsibilities Perform professional manicure treatments, including gel manicures and nail extensions, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and OSHA regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and build lasting relationships through excellent customer service. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and industry techniques to continually improve your skills and service offerings. Requirements Valid cosmetology or manicurist license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority. Proven experience working as a manicurist or in the beauty industry with knowledge of nail care services including gel manicures,and nail extensions. Strong understanding of salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and OSHA regulations. Knowledge of color theory and current nail trends to create innovative designs tailored to client preferences. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients professionally and warmly. Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively pace in a fast-paced salon environment. Additional skills such as esthetic laser treatment, hair styling, eyelash extensions or body waxing are a plus but not required.
