Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, and nail extensions with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and ensure a positive experience Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, or skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon sales goals Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and new product offerings to provide innovative services Follow all health regulations related to sanitation standards for disinfection procedures and overall salon safety Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or Cosmetologist with expertise in manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation protocols Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively attitude in a fast-paced environment Certification or licensing in cosmetology or related field as required by local regulations Experience with retail sales strategies such as upselling products or services to clients Knowledge of additional beauty services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or barbering is a plus but not required Join us to elevate your career in the beauty industry!
