Part Time Evening Nail Technician Overview Aspens Nail Haven is looking for a talented, dependable, and personable Nail Technician to join our team for evening shifts! We are looking for someone who loves the nail industry, takes pride in their work, and is passionate about giving every client an amazing experience from start to finish. This position will primarily cover our evening shifts Tuesday-Friday from approximately 5:30 PM-9:00PM , with the possibility of Saturday shifts as needed. There may also be opportunities for daytime appointments , including larger group bookings, special appointments, or covering shifts when another nail technician needs time off. We would love to find someone who has some flexibility and is willing to help during the day when available, although the primary focus of this position will be evenings. Responsibilities Providing high-quality manicures, pedicures, Gel-X, Luminary, and other nail services Delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive, welcoming experience for every client Building relationships with clients and helping them feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for Following proper sanitation and disinfection procedures Keeping your work area clean, stocked, and organized Providing thoughtful recommendations based on each client's nail needs and preferences Working together with the rest of our team to maintain a positive and professional salon environment Stays up to date on current nail trends, techniques, products, and popular styles Comfortable using social media and willing to help showcase their work through photos, videos, and salon content Skills Strong experience performing pedicures and genuinely enjoys providing pedicure services Knowledgeable and confident working with Luminary nail systems Comfortable and experienced with Gel-X extensions Previous professional experience with pedicures, Luminary, and Gel-X strongly preferred Skilled in manicures, gel polish applications, nail shaping, cuticle care, and basic nail art Excellent attention to detail and consistently produces clean, polished work Strong understanding of proper sanitation, disinfection, and salon safety procedures Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results Comfortable taking quality photos/videos of their work and participating in social media content Friendly, dependable, punctual, and able to build strong relationships with repeat clients Willing to learn, take feedback, and continue improving their skills Compensation & Growth This position includes both commission-based and hourly compensation. Client services are paid on commission, while training and designated non-service duties such as social media and deep cleaning are paid hourly. This is a commission-based W-2 position for client services Technicians keep 100% of their tips Training is paid hourly Technicians are also paid hourly for designated non-service duties , including social media content creation and scheduled deep cleaning Employees are paid twice per month Earnings vary based on appointment volume, services performed, and availability Additional earning opportunities may be available through daytime appointments, group bookings, Saturday appointments, and covering shifts for other technicians At Aspens Nail Haven, we care about more than just beautiful nails.
