at Tknails in Troy, Illinois, United States Job Description Nail Technician (Troy, IL) - Full Time Clean and sanitize tools and working environment. Wipe off old polish. Cut shape, remove forms, and artificial nails. Clean customer's nails (using file, swab) in warm or soapy water. Buff and polish nails, also repair damaged nails. Apply polish, acrylic, or gel onto nails using a brush. Brush powder and solvent onto nails to extend and form nails. Design nails following customer's request. Decorate customer's nails using ornament or designs. Make sure each nail is dry and problems are fixed before customers leave the salon. Offer pedicures to clients.$31,200.00 per year. High School or GED. Must have a valid Manicurist license issued by the State of Illinois or be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire (employer will provide assistance with the licensing process).
