This role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents safely in and out of vehicles and throughout community activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, safety-conscious, and enjoys interacting with seniors. Essential Responsibilities Safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities Assist residents in and out of vehicles safely and respectfully Ensure resident comfort and safety during transportation Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and safety procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation vehicles Build positive relationships with residents and families Communicate effectively with community leadership and team members Participate in required meetings, training, and community events Support resident activities and engagement as needed Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times Qualifications Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Previous transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Compassionate and resident-focused attitude Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable attendance and strong time management skills Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What Makes a Great Fit We are looking for someone who: Prioritizes resident safety and comfort Enjoys building relationships with seniors Brings positivity, patience, and professionalism to every interaction Is dependable, organized, and safety-focused Understands the importance of transportation in maintaining resident independence and quality of life What Our Associates Say About Charter "It truly feels like family at Charter."
