Job Description
Hammer & Nails hand and foot grooming is designed specifically for men in a private, elevated environment. Nail Technicians deliver clean, detailed services while helping guests feel comfortable, informed, and confident returning regularly. What You Will Do Perform men's manicures, pedicures, hand grooming, foot grooming, nail shaping, cuticle care, callus care, and related services within the scope of Maryland licensure and company protocols. Explain services in an approachable way, especially to guests who may be new to professional hand and foot care. Follow strict sanitation, disinfection, tool-management, and room-cleanliness standards. Recommend appropriate service frequency, rebooking, memberships, and approved retail products. Maintain accurate service notes and provide a consistent premium experience. Participate in training, quality reviews, team meetings, and promotional events as needed. What We Are Looking For Active Maryland nail technician or cosmetology license, or documented eligibility to obtain the required license before beginning services. Strong sanitation habits, attention to detail, and comfort working with male clientele. Professional communication, dependability, and a hospitality mindset. Ability to work efficiently without rushing the guest experience. Availability for a mix of evenings and weekends. Preferred Background Experience with men's grooming, spa pedicures, callus care, premium service environments, or membership-based businesses. Existing clientele, strong rebooking history, or a portfolio of work. Training, mentoring, inventory, or technical-lead experience.
