Key Responsibilities:
•Provide professional nail care services, including manicures and pedicures, tailored to the unique needs of seniors. Work closely with senior residents in various settings, including assisted living facilities and nursing homes, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in all nail care practices. Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards those with health challenges or conditions. Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate care and ensure the well-being of residents. Stay updated on best practices in nail care and wellness, continuously improving skills and knowledge. Responsibilities Perform a variety of senior nail services including manicures, gel manicures, and pedicures with precision and care. Ability to show compassion, sympathy and empathy. Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable polish shades and nail art designs that complement each client's style. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, workstations, and treatment areas Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a relaxing experience. Stay current with elderly compliance trainings, fingernail and toenail protocol, industry trends in nail techniques, color trends, and new product offerings through continuous education and training Qualifications Valid nail technician license if preferred but not mandatory, students welcome to apply. Relevant training will be provided for qualified candidates Experience working with seniors or in healthcare settings is preferred but not mandatory. We can train you.
