Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom instruction on manicure techniques, nail care, and advanced aesthetic treatments such as gel nails, acrylics, and nail art. Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with industry standards and certification requirements. Demonstrate proper application of nail enhancements, cuticle care, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols. Provide personalized feedback to students to enhance their technical skills and professionalism. Incorporate specialized topics such as trigger point therapy for hand and wrist relief, anatomy knowledge relevant to nail health, and skin care treatments like facials and dermabrasion. Guide students through practical assessments, ensuring they meet competency standards for certification or licensing exams. Skills Extensive knowledge of cosmetology principles with a focus on nail care and advanced aesthetic treatments. Proven experience in teaching or training adults and young adults in a classroom setting. Strong understanding of anatomy related to hands, nails, skin, and facial structures. Skilled in lesson planning with the ability to adapt content for diverse learning styles. Expertise in nail enhancement techniques such as gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs. Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion procedures, deep tissue massage techniques related to hand and body care. Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly while maintaining an energetic and motivating teaching style. Knowledge of trigger point therapy for pain relief in the hands and wrists is a plus.
