Apply advanced techniques such as gel extensions, nail sculpting, and intricate nail designs using color theory principles to match client preferences. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each client to ensure safety and hygiene. Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable nail services, and educate on proper nail care routines. Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified. Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, or other beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales. Stay current with industry trends by continuously updating skills in new techniques like dermabrasion or advanced nail art. Manage retail sales transactions accurately using retail math skills while maintaining excellent communication with clients about products and services. Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere by demonstrating excellent communication skills and genuine enthusiasm for beauty services. Experience Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a fast-paced salon or spa environment. Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care procedures, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician training is required; additional certifications such as eyelash extensions or hair styling are a plus. Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling and retail math to maximize revenue opportunities. Experience with advanced treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs.
