Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and nail art designs using color theory principles to enhance aesthetic appeal. Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments while maintaining strict salon safety protocols and sanitation standards. Apply and customize nail extensions using various techniques to meet client preferences. Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance, and retail product recommendations to promote ongoing beauty routines. Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment by following disinfection procedures for tools and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience. Upsell additional services such as body waxing or eyelash extensions when appropriate to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue. Requirements Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role with knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic application, and nail extensions. Strong understanding of color theory, nail care techniques, and sanitation/disinfection procedures. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and provide outstanding customer service. Knowledge of salon safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Experience with retail sales techniques including upselling products such as nail care items or skincare treatments is preferred.
