About Us The Dog Wash Co. is a high-quality grooming salon committed to delivering a clean, low-stress, and professional experience for both pets and their owners. Position Overview We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Admin + Bath & Nail Technician to join our team for around 15-25 hours a week. This role is ideal for someone who notices the small things, takes initiative without being asked, and enjoys both customer service and hands-on work with dogs. You'll support front desk tasks, keep the salon spotless, perform essential grooming services, and help bring our pups to life on social media through photos and videos throughout the day. There's also potential for this to grow into a hybrid role, splitting time between the salon and some admin and kennel tech work at our partner business (Balanced Beginnings Canine Club) a couple of days a week. Responsibilities Greet clients and pets professionally during check-in and check-out Answer phones, return messages, and assist with booking inquiries Schedule and manage appointments accurately using salon software Provide excellent customer service and clear client communication Perform bath and brush services, including drying and deshedding treatments Safely complete nail trims and basic ear cleaning Assist with minor and occasional trimming (face, feet, sanitary, etc.) as needed Take photos and videos of pups throughout the day for our social media Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in grooming areas, the lobby, and common spaces Support groomers and team members to ensure smooth daily operations What We're Looking For Detail-oriented with a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation Proactive and able to take initiative without being told Comfortable and enthusiastic about snapping photos/videos of dogs for social media Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Open to a hybrid schedule that includes some admin and kennel tech work at the Canine Club Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods Previous grooming, bathing, or customer service experience preferred but not required
