Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools and equipment Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products for ongoing maintenance Conduct additional beauty treatments like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or esthetic laser treatments as needed to enhance client experience Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Stay updated on current trends in nail art, color theory, and industry best practices through continuous education Qualifications Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of nail designs and techniques Knowledge of nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and sanitation standards required for salon safety Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse clients and understand their individual needs Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling products like nail care items or skincare treatments Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Enthusiasm for learning new skills such as dermabrasion or laser treatments to expand service offerings Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help clients look and feel their best!
