Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, acrylic and nail extension techniques with precision and artistry Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation, disinfection procedures, and proper sterilization of tools and equipment Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience Ensure the salon environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times by adhering to sanitation standards Stay current with industry trends in nail art, techniques to provide innovative services Assist with retail sales by promoting nail care products, tools, and accessories that support ongoing client maintenance Skills Strong knowledge of color theory for personalized nail design recommendations Expertise in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel manicures, and nail extensions Proficiency in performing pedicures and manicure treatments with attention to detail Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and overall hygiene practices Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nail care or esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion or body waxing is preferred Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a professional demeanor Knowledge of hair styling, hair extensions, barbering or eyelash extensions is a plus but not required Strong retail math skills for accurate product sales transactions Effective communication skills to educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare Join us as a Nail Technician where your talent will transform everyday beauty routines into extraordinary experiences!
