Overview As a Petite Retreat Therapist, you are responsible for delivering high-quality wellness services including head spa, reiki, and other holistic treatments aligned with the Mane Techniques/Petite Retreat standards of excellence. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, guest care, professionalism, and consistency. Therapists are expected to create memorable guest experiences, meet service and retail benchmarks, actively participate in personal development meetings, and model strong daily habits that promote personal and professional growth. Objectives Deliver exceptional spa and wellness services with professionalism and care. Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consultation, follow-up, and rebooking. Proactively recommend service enhancements and retail products to enrich client results. Maintain a calm, welcoming environment that reflects the Petite Retreat brand. Meet established benchmarks in service sales, retail sales, and rebooking rates. Participate in monthly Personal Development Meetings (PDMs) for performance review and growth. Contribute to a culture of Mane Techniques core values along with inclusivity, wellness, and collaboration.

Commit to personal growth through classes, coaching, and self-study. Core Responsibilities Provide professional services including head spa, Reiki, red light therapy, and other holistic treatments. Know everything there is to know about the services you provide. Conduct thorough consultations, ensuring intake forms are reviewed and client needs are clearly understood.

Maintain strong guest communication:

pre-visit outreach, warm greetings, active listening, and thoughtful follow-ups. Encourage rebooking and provide at-home care recommendations for lasting results. Proactively introduce add-ons such as Red Light Therapy, upgraded Head Spa options, or recommended stylist services. Support salon retail by recommending wellness and haircare products aligned with client needs. Maintain detailed service notes and preferences in Boulevard software. Support salon marketing efforts by engaging in scheduled content days, including helping record, assisting in photoshoots, and showcasing services for social media. Be positive, peaceful, and fully present during all shifts. In-Spa Expectations Arrive prepared and with your treatment room fully set up before the first guest. Be completely ready to take your first guest a minimum of 15 minutes before your shift. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up tools, equipment, ambiance, and ensuring balance and peace within, so you can hold space for others with compassion and ease. Stay for the duration of scheduled shifts unless otherwise approved by leadership. Support salon flow by coordinating with stylists and client relations staff. Always ensure treatment spaces are clean, stocked, and visually appealing. Respect client time by maintaining schedule flow and communicating proactively when delays occur. If you notice something out of place and have a moment to address it, please do so. End-of-Shift Standards Your room is a reflection of your artistry and the Petite Retreat experience. Before leaving each day, take pride in resetting your space with the same care you give your guests.

Please follow these steps:

Wipe down every surface with multipurpose cleaner provided and sweep, so every guest is welcomed into a fresh environment. Organize your tray with intention. All contents should be neatly in their place. Thoroughly clean the top, sides, and underneath of all furniture so it is spotless and ready for next use. Before leaving the building, walk through every room you used and ensure all signs of your work are cleaned and restored. This level of care isn't just about cleanliness—it's about consistency, professionalism, and showing pride in your craft. Professionalism & Accountability Maintain proper certifications and comply with state/local regulations where applicable. Follow all salon policies, agreements, and performance expectations. Represent Petite Retreat and Mane Techniques positively both in-salon and online. Protect confidentiality and uphold professional integrity. Communicate internally in alignment with brand tone, professionalism, and chain of command.
