We're seeking a Lead Nail Technician to guide our nail department, mentor junior techs, and elevate the salon's reputation for top-quality nail services.

Position Overview:

The Lead Nail Technician is both a hands-on service provider and a department leader. This role ensures the nail team meets high standards in client service, technique, cleanliness, and productivity while contributing to a collaborative salon culture. Key Responsibilities Technical & Service Excellence Provide high-quality nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail art, gel, acrylic, and specialty treatments. Stay up to date on trends, products, and advanced nail care techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation following all sanitation guidelines. Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and support junior nail technicians and assistants. Help onboard, train, and coach new nail team members. Model professionalism, punctuality, and client-focused service. Operations & Team Support Assist with inventory management for nail supplies. Participate in scheduling and floor support when needed. Communicate effectively with salon owner and team to ensure smooth daily operations. Help resolve client concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Valid Tennessee Nail Technician License. Minimum 2-3 years of professional nail service experience. Proven leadership, mentoring, or training experience (preferred). Strong client service and communication skills. Team-player mindset and a passion for creativity and innovation. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Compensation & Benefits Commission-based pay on all nail services.
