hourly wages + tip and commision Duties Perform a variety of nail services including gel manicures, nail extensions, and intricate nail art based on client preferences Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments to promote healthy, beautiful feet Apply color theory principles to create custom nail designs that match client styles and trends Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products such as nail care items or skincare products Ensure proper disinfection of all equipment following industry standards to guarantee a safe environment for clients and staff Stay updated on current beauty trends, new techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and industry best practices to enhance service quality Experience Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, and sanitation standards required for salon safety Familiarity with cosmetology licensing requirements and disinfection procedures in a professional setting Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse clients, understand their preferences, and provide personalized recommendations Strong retail sales skills combined with upselling techniques to promote retail products effectively Demonstrated professionalism in maintaining a clean workspace while delivering top-tier customer service
