Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and intricate nail art using color theory principles. Conduct pedicures and other foot care treatments to promote healthy nails and skin. Apply and maintain nail enhancements such as gel, acrylics, and nail extensions with precision and attention to detail. Follow strict salon safety protocols, including sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and upsell retail products related to nail care. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools according to sanitation standards throughout the day. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design, techniques, and industry best practices to continually enhance service quality. Requirements Valid cosmetology or Nail Technician license with certification in nail technology. Proven experience working as a Nail Technician in a professional salon or spa setting. Strong knowledge of nail care, color theory, gel manicures, acrylic application, and disinfection procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and retail sales techniques. Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude. Knowledge of additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or hair styling is a plus but not required.
