Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and licensed Nail Technician Instructor to educate, mentor, and inspire our students. In this role, you will lead classroom instruction and practical training, ensuring students master everything from basic nail care to advanced artificial extensions and intricate nail art.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach comprehensive lessons on manicures, pedicures, acrylic enhancements, hard gels, dip powders, and gel extensions. Provide live demonstrations of proper filing, shaping, tip application, and advanced nail art techniques. Instruct students thoroughly on salon safety, chemical hazards, sanitation, and state board infection control protocols. Monitor, evaluate, and grade student progress during hands-on practice on mannequins and clients. Prepare students to confidently pass their state board practical and written licensing examinations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Active State Cosmetology or Manicurist/Nail Technician License required. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a professional nail technician in a salon setting. Deep knowledge of structural nail health, diseases/disorders, and anatomy of the hand and foot. Strong communication skills and patience when teaching students with varying skill levels. Previous teaching experience is preferred, but passion and mastery of the craft are our priorities.

From $18.00 per hour
