Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions with precision and care. Conduct pedicures, nail art, and color theory consultations to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, equipment, and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or related beauty accessories to enhance client results and salon revenue. Stay current with industry trends in nail design, techniques like dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and new product offerings. Support overall salon operations by managing appointment schedules efficiently and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in the beauty industry with strong knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails, and nail extensions. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations. Knowledge of sanitation standards including disinfection procedures for tools and work areas. Familiarity with color theory, nail care techniques, and advanced services such as body waxing or eyelash extensions is preferred. Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and understand their needs. Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing exceptional customer service.
