In this role, you will specialize in professional manicure and nail care services while delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming beauty and spa environment. Your attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to quality will help clients feel confident and cared for while allowing you to grow your skills and clientele as part of our expanding team. Responsibilities Perform professional manicure and nail care services with precision, attention to detail, and a strong focus on client comfort and satisfaction Provide services such as gel manicures, structured manicures, nail shaping, cuticle care, polish application, and other nail treatments based on experience and training Consult with clients to understand their preferences, nail goals, and desired results while recommending appropriate services Maintain strict sanitation, disinfection, and hygiene standards for tools, equipment, workstations, and service areas Properly prepare and reset the nail station before and after each client Manage client appointments using salon software such as Square, helping maintain smooth scheduling and accurate client information Promote appropriate retail products, nail care products, and aftercare recommendations when applicable Build positive client relationships that encourage rebooking and long-term client retention Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude while contributing to a supportive team environment Showcase completed work and support salon promotions through social media when appropriate Requirements Experience performing professional manicure or nail services is preferred Appropriate Texas license or eligibility to legally perform nail services in accordance with applicable state requirements Training and experience in manicure techniques, nail preparation, cuticle care, gel polish, and related nail services Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, consistent work Knowledge of proper sanitation, disinfection, and infection-control practices in a salon or spa environment Strong communication skills to provide professional consultations and personalized service recommendations Ability or willingness to learn salon software such as Square for scheduling and client management Comfortable recommending services, rebooking appointments, and discussing appropriate retail or aftercare products Reliable, professional, team-oriented, and willing to continue learning and developing new skills Additional experience with pedicures, nail enhancements, nail art, e-file techniques, or other beauty services is advantageous Join us as we continue to grow The Lash and Beauty Spa and expand our nail services.
