Part-Time Festival Ambassador for Sunday, Sept. 6

Description:

Rethread Boston is a citywide celebration of reclaiming what we waste on Sunday, Sept. 6 from 12-7pm at Boston City Hall Plaza. We're hiring festival ambassadors who will greet festival goers and strike up conversations with them about our art exhibitions, our programs, and otherwise support festival operations like setup and breakdown. Our clothing swap will feature interactive booths for repairing clothes, dying them with plants, silk-screen ing, and making bioplastic from fruit skins in addition to hands-on classes. Together, we will bring themunity together to envision a livably fashionable future. Festival ambassadors whomit to working from 11am

8pm, the full shift, will receive a $30 bonus.

Qualifications:

Commitment to attend Sunday, September 9th for a minimum four hour shift between 11am and 8pm
Responsive to texts and emails
Friendly and willing to engage in meaningful conversations
Ability to focus instead of being on your phone
Ability to lift and move materials that are 50 lbs (optional but preferred for setup and close
Passion for a more sustainable world
