Job Description

Fit Model (Women - Sizes 12 & 14)
Location:
South Burlington, VT Pay:
$25/hour (1st hour guaranteed) Commando's Design & Development team is looking for part-time Fit Models to help us perfect the fit of our garments! This is not a traditional modeling role—there is no photography, runway, or promotional work involved. Instead, you'll work directly with our Design and Technical Design teams by trying on garment samples and providing feedback on fit, comfort, and functionality throughout the product development process. We are currently seeking fit models in the following sizes: Size 12 Size 14 Applicants must closely match the measurement specifications for their respective size.
Details:
Fittings will occur approximately 1-2 times per month for the next 4 month s, with additional fittings scheduled on an as-needed basis thereafter. Most fittings last approximately 1 hour. Flexible daytime availability during standard business hours is preferred. A fun opportunity to preview new products and contribute to the development of future collections!
Requirements:
Must closely match the measurement specifications for the size being considered.
Ideal height:
5'6" (acceptable range: 5'5"-5'7"). Comfortable trying on garments, including bras and panties, in front of members of the Design & Development team. Ability to provide feedback regarding garment fit and comfort. Prior fit model experience is a plus but is not required. How to Measure Your Chest, Waist, and Hips Use a flexible measuring tape and make sure it's snug but not tight. Stand up straight and breathe normally while measuring. Chest Stand relaxed with arms at your sides. Measure around the fullest part of your chest (usually at nipple level). Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Record the measurement Waist Find the narrowest part of your waist, a few inches above your belly button. Wrap the tape around your waist, snug but not tight. Record the measurement. Low Hips Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep the tape straight and snug. Record the measurement.
Tip:
The tape should be snug against your body, but not squeezing. You should be able to breathe comfortably.
