Full-Time | $22-$28/hour + Performance Bonus Lacquer Nails & Spa is seeking an experienced, professional and highly motivated Salon General Manager to lead our team and help take our business to the next level. We are looking for more than someone who can manage a schedule or sit at the front desk. We want a leader, problem solver and business-minded manager who takes ownership of the salon, cares about customers and employees, protects the quality of our services, and is constantly looking for opportunities to grow the business. ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience & Quality Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and independently. Follow up with customers and make sure issues are properly resolved. Monitor the quality of nail services performed by technicians. Recognize recurring quality problems and coach employees when improvement is needed. Maintain excellent customer service from check-in through checkout. Help increase customer retention, rebooking and positive reviews. Team Leadership Lead employees professionally, fairly and respectfully. Hold staff accountable for attendance, professionalism, sanitation and service standards. Resolve employee conflicts. Coach and motivate team members. Help create a positive but accountable work environment. Be visible and active on the salon floor. Salon Operations Oversee daily salon operations. Support the front desk during busy periods. Manage appointments, walk-ins, technician rotation and customer wait times. Monitor salon cleanliness and sanitation. Maintain and organize inventory. Make sure essential products are reordered on time. Oversee the complimentary beverage/bar area. Business Development This is an important part of the position. We want a manager who can help grow Lacquer , not simply maintain it.
Responsibilities include:
Develop ideas to increase salon revenue. Monitor sales and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop promotions for slower days and seasons. Plan seasonal promotions and customer events. Build relationships with local businesses. Visit nearby businesses for networking and partnership opportunities. Develop corporate, apartment, hotel, wedding and community partnerships. Look for opportunities to bring new customers into Lacquer. Help increase gift card sales, group bookings, rebooking and customer retention. Social Media & Brand Representation Be comfortable participating in Instagram, Facebook and TikTok content. Identify opportunities for photos and videos inside the salon. Help promote seasonal services, events and specials. Represent Lacquer professionally at community and networking events. Maintain a clean, polished and professional appearance when representing our brand. Requirements 21 years of age or older Management experience required. Nail salon, beauty, spa, hospitality or luxury customer-service experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent customer complaint-resolution skills. Comfortable holding employees accountable. Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment. Comfortable working with inventory and business numbers. Social-media knowledge. Reliable transportation for local networking. Available for afternoon/evening shifts. Weekend availability required. Flexible during holidays, seasonal rushes and special events. Professional appearance and attitude. Self-motivated and able to work without constant direction.
