Our Spa Supervisor role is an important position for our team, and we will look to you to lead by example, set high standards for yourself and the team and promote a work environment that doesn't settle for anything less than producing high-quality results. In this position, you will work closely with the Assistant Operations Manager in a highly collaborative manner to maintain service quality, staff training, inventory control and department performance. You will have a strong sense of accountability within the department and reinforce our instilled values with each interaction. In addition, it is expected that you will work collaboratively with our Food and Beverage, Member Services, Membership/Events, Golf Operations and Grounds teams to ensure an elevated Ownership, Member, and Invited Guest experience. This "global service" approach is a significant element to our collective success, and this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring, and more importantly, modeling a global service standard, attitude and mind-set in all situations. The Spa Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the management of our Spa operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury service and creating exceptional guest experiences. This role will oversee all aspects of Spa operations—including treatment services, staffing, retail, and wellness — with a strong focus on integrating services within a private golf club/boutique resort environment. In addition, setting a personal example of being a professional and thoughtful leader, while fostering a respectful working environment, is crucial in this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the leadership and direction for all spa operations, including massage, skincare, body treatments, salon, recovery services, and retail
  • Assist in recruitment and training staff, fostering a culture of professionalism, performance, and member-focused service
  • Oversee existing service standards, treatment protocols, and wellness programs to exceed guest expectations
  • Assist with purchasing, inventory, and expense control
  • Assist in driving the Spa department's revenue through marketing initiatives, promotions, partnerships, and upselling strategies
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all service areas.
  • Stay current on industry trends, new products, and innovations in wellness, beauty, and spa services
  • Previous tangible leadership duties in a Spa & Wellness and/or hospitality environment or similar environment is strongly desired
  • Highly professional presence, with a focus on thoughtful communications and approach, while building strong partnerships strong desired
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving skills with an organized approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and high-touch environment
  • Strong desire to work cohesively as part of a team, and adapt/respond to different communication styles is strongly desired
  • Ability to focus attention on member and invited guest needs, along with the ability to quickly determine and execute alternative plans
  • Display a high level of self-motivation, accountability and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, honesty and integrity in all situations
Pay:
$29.00 - $31.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.0 - 40.0 per week
