- Part-time Overview Stay Golden Tanning Salon & Spa is looking for a reliable, motivated, and creative Salon Operations & Growth Lead to help oversee and grow our salon operations.
This is not just a front desk position. We are looking for someone who wants to learn the business from the inside out and become a key part of our growing team. This role combines leadership, customer experience, sales, marketing, team support, and day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is organized, sales-minded, social media savvy, dependable, confident leading a team, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who naturally takes initiative, enjoys helping a business grow, and wants to build a long-term role within the beauty and wellness industry. This position will work closely with ownership and help keep salon operations running smoothly while assisting with staff support, client experience, marketing efforts, content creation, membership growth, and overall business performance. Responsibilities Open and close the salon independently Help oversee daily salon operations and maintain a positive, professional environment Support, motivate, and help train team members Learn all salon systems, memberships, products, and services Assist with staff communication, scheduling, and shift coverage when needed Provide exceptional customer service and help create a welcoming client experience Drive salon growth through membership sales, lotion sales, retail recommendations, and customer retention Track reports, review business numbers, and help monitor salon performance goals Assist with marketing efforts, promotions, and business growth initiatives Create social media content including Instagram Reels, TikToks, stories, and promotional posts Use Canva and other platforms to assist with salon graphics and marketing materials Maintain salon cleanliness, organization, and operational standards Learn spray tanning services and overall salon operations from the inside out Assist ownership with keeping operations running smoothly during travel and busy seasons Help problem solve daily operational challenges and maintain strong team communication Contribute ideas to help improve customer experience, sales, and overall salon growth Requirements Previous leadership, retail, salon, customer service, sales, or management experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, professional, and highly organized Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Flexible schedule with availability for opening and closing shifts Sales-minded with confidence recommending memberships, products, and services Comfortable learning salon systems, reports, and daily business operations Computer savvy and comfortable using Google Docs/Suite, scheduling systems, and technology platforms Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and social media platforms preferred Canva or basic marketing/design experience is a plus Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills Ability to help lead, motivate, and support team members Beauty, wellness, tanning, fitness, or spa industry experience is a plus but not required Willingness to grow with the business long-term and take on increasing leadership responsibilities Bonus Opportunities Additional bonus opportunities may be available based on: Membership growth Retail and lotion sales Salon performance goals Marketing and content performance Team and customer experience success Why Join Stay Golden?
