Full-Time Key Responsibilities:
Lead by example in providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, ensuring the highest level of customer service. Manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs. Schedule and confirm appointments with clients via phone, email, and in-person bookings, ensuring an efficient and timely booking process. Check clients in, take jackets, and serve beverages. Notify stylists and team members when clients arrive, ensuring seamless communication between the front desk and the salon floor. Managing front desk operations, including handling customer concerns, addressing service requests, and maintaining a professional, efficient work environment. Promote and sell salon retail products, providing expert recommendations based on client needs and preferences. Support with team coordination, ensuring smooth communication and workflow between front desk staff and salon professionals. Handle client calls and emails promptly, confirming appointments, answering inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Administrative tasks such as managing client records, processing payments, and tracking inventory. Manage inventory for salon retail products, backbar products, color orders, beverage station, cleaning supplies etc.
Qualifications:
Previous receptionist or front desk experience, preferably in a salon or beauty industry. Strong leadership and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage both front desk operations and customer interactions effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and positive demeanor. Strong sales abilities and experience with retail product promotion. Proficient in appointment booking software, phone systems, and general office tools (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented. Experience with MEEVO or Millineum Salon software preferred.
