Join the opening team at Apogee Club Spa and play an important leadership role in creating an extraordinary new spa and wellness experience at Apogee Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. The Spa Supervisor will help establish the operational standards, service culture, team expectations, and member experience that will define Apogee Club Spa from day one. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced spa or luxury hospitality professional to help build a highly personalized, service-driven environment while supporting the Spa & Wellness Director in the successful opening and ongoing operation of the Spa. We are seeking a polished, proactive, highly organized leader who thrives in a luxury private club setting, enjoys developing teams, notices the smallest details, and takes ownership of the member experience. Help us create the Apogee Club Spa experience from day one. Position Summary The Spa Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operation of Apogee Club Spa and ensuring that members and guests consistently receive exceptional, personalized service. This position serves as an operational leader on the floor and works closely with the Spa & Wellness Director to oversee Spa Coordinators, Spa Attendants / Hospitality Hosts, treatment providers, and daily Spa activity. The Spa Supervisor helps ensure operational readiness, seamless member flow, strong communication between departments, consistent service standards, accurate scheduling, facility presentation, retail and product support, inventory management, and prompt resolution of member concerns. A key responsibility of this role is to assist with Massage Therapist and Esthetician scheduling, Spa Coordinator scheduling, daily staffing coverage, and Spa inventory management to support efficient operations and exceptional member service.DAILY SPA OPERATIONS
Support the Spa & Wellness Director in overseeing daily Spa & Wellness operations. Serve as a visible operational leader throughout the Spa. Review daily schedules, staffing levels, treatment availability, modality availability, special requests, and anticipated member volume. Conduct or support daily pre-shift meetings. Ensure the Spa is fully prepared before opening each day. Monitor Spa operations throughout the day to maintain service readiness. Coordinate Spa Desk, treatment providers, locker room, hospitality, retail, and Wellness activity. Help manage operational changes, scheduling adjustments, late arrivals, cancellations, and same-day requests. Maintain awareness of member flow and service timing. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Ensure required daily checklists and operational standards are completed. Communicate important operational information clearly to the team. Escalate significant concerns to the Spa & Wellness Director promptly.STAFF SCHEDULING & COVERAGE
Assist the Spa & Wellness Director with preparation and maintenance of employee schedules. Assist with Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician scheduling based on anticipated treatment demand, provider availability, and business needs. Assist with Spa Coordinator scheduling to ensure appropriate Spa Desk coverage throughout operating hours. Support scheduling and coverage for Spa Attendants / Hospitality Hosts as needed. Monitor daily staffing levels and identify potential coverage gaps. Assist with arranging coverage for call-outs, schedule changes, vacations, and other staffing needs. Coordinate breaks and meal periods while maintaining appropriate operational coverage. Monitor treatment demand and provider utilization to help optimize scheduling. Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly to affected team members. Help balance member demand, provider availability, and treatment-room capacity. Maintain accurate knowledge of team availability, approved time off, and operational scheduling needs. Communicate recurring staffing or scheduling challenges to the Spa & Wellness Director.MEMBER EXPERIENCE & LUXURY SERVICE
Serve as a role model for gracious, intuitive, and personalized hospitality. Maintain a highly visible presence and engage with members appropriately throughout the Spa. Welcome and recognize members by name whenever possible. Monitor the member journey to ensure services and transitions feel seamless. Anticipate member needs and identify opportunities to personalize the experience. Support team members with special requests and elevated member needs. Observe service delivery and provide real-time coaching when appropriate. Ensure members receive consistent service regardless of treatment, provider, or time of day. Protect member privacy, confidentiality, and discretion at all times. Foster an environment that feels calm, thoughtful, and unhurried.TEAM SUPERVISION & LEADERSHIP
Provide daily supervision and support for Spa Coordinators and Spa Attendants / Hospitality Hosts. Work collaboratively with Lead Massage Therapist and Lead Esthetician regarding treatment-provider needs. Support Spa & Wellness professionals throughout the operating day. Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, communication, and attention to detail. Help establish clear expectations for service, appearance, conduct, attendance, and teamwork. Provide coaching and feedback to team members. Recognize positive performance and encourage accountability. Assist with resolving team concerns and operational challenges. Communicate performance concerns to the Spa & Wellness Director. Support a respectful, collaborative, and service-driven workplace culture. Help maintain appropriate staffing coverage throughout operating hours.STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT
Support onboarding and orientation of new Spa team members. Assist with pre-opening training and operational simulations. Reinforce Apogee Club Spa service standards and operating procedures. Support ongoing Spa Coordinator and Hospitality Host training. Coordinate with Lead Massage Therapist and Lead Esthetician regarding provider training needs. Participate in product, modality, vendor, treatment, safety, and service training. Help ensure team members understand Spa treatments, Wellness offerings, amenities, and available modalities. Reinforce proper use of Spa systems, communication procedures, and member-service standards. Identify opportunities for additional training and development. Maintain a culture of continuous learning and improvement.SPA DESK & SCHEDULING OVERSIGHT
Support the Spa Coordinator team with appointment management and Spa Desk operations. Monitor treatment schedules and provider utilization. Assist with complex appointment requests and schedule changes. Help ensure appointments, enhancements, and special requests are documented accurately. Support appropriate coordination of multiple Spa and Wellness experiences. Monitor member wait times and treatment start times. Assist with waitlists and same-day availability. Support accurate processing of Spa transactions and member charges. Review discrepancies or account questions as appropriate. Ensure Spa Desk presentation remains polished and organized. Help maintain excellent telephone and member communication standards.INVENTORY MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONAL SUPPLIES
Assist the Spa & Wellness Director with overall Spa inventory management. Monitor professional treatment products, retail inventory, operating supplies, linens, amenities, hospitality items, and Spa Desk supplies. Maintain awareness of established par levels and identify replenishment needs before supplies become critical. Coordinate with the Lead Esthetician regarding esthetics back-bar products, skincare retail, and treatment supplies. Coordinate with the Lead Massage Therapist regarding massage oils, body-treatment products, and related supplies. Monitor usage patterns and help identify unusual consumption, waste, or discrepancies. Assist with regular physical inventory counts. Support receiving, checking, organizing, labeling, and storing incoming inventory. Help verify deliveries against orders and communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies. Maintain organized storage and back-of-house inventory areas. Support product rotation and appropriate inventory-control practices. Assist with tracking retail testers, samples, amenities, and professional products. Communicate low-stock and reorder needs to the Spa & Wellness Director in a timely manner. Assist with inventory preparation for product launches, seasonal treatments, special events, and member programming. Support Spa leadership in maintaining accurate inventory records.SPA & WELLNESS MODALITY OVERSIGHT
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Spa & Wellness treatments, experiences, and modalities offered at Apogee Club. Support the team in confidently guiding members through available experiences. Maintain working knowledge of Ammortal experiences, Halo Therapy, body treatments, esthetic services, Stretch Lab offerings, Pilates, yoga, recovery experiences, and other Spa & Wellness modalities. Ensure staff receive appropriate orientation and training related to available modalities. Monitor modality spaces for operational readiness and presentation. Coordinate with appropriate providers or specialists regarding scheduling and member flow. Ensure team members refer technical or health-related questions to appropriately qualified professionals. Communicate equipment, maintenance, safety, or operational concerns promptly.LOCKER ROOM, HOSPITALITY & FACILITY OVERSIGHT
Oversee daytime presentation and readiness of locker rooms, Zen Lounge, hospitality areas, and member-facing Spa spaces. Ensure Spa Attendants / Hospitality Hosts maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards. Monitor robe, towel, slipper, linen, and amenity levels. Ensure hospitality bars, tea, water, refreshments, and chef-inspired snacks are consistently presented according to standard. Monitor the environment for lighting, music, temperature, scent, cleanliness, and overall ambiance. Ensure member-facing areas are continuously reset throughout the day. Coordinate daytime upkeep with Spa team members. Communicate cleaning needs and overnight requirements to the outsourced housekeeping partner and Spa & Wellness Director as appropriate. Immediately address or report maintenance and safety concerns.LINEN & HOUSEKEEPING COORDINATION
Monitor daily linen usage and inventory needs. Ensure appropriate par levels of robes, towels, slippers, and treatment linens. Coordinate linen needs with Spa Attendants / Hospitality Hosts and treatment providers. Identify shortages or excessive usage and communicate appropriately. Help maintain organized linen storage areas. Coordinate with outsourced overnight housekeeping regarding Spa cleaning standards and special needs. Inspect Spa presentation following housekeeping service and communicate deficiencies when appropriate. Support the Spa & Wellness Director in maintaining consistent housekeeping expectations.MEMBER CONCERNS & SERVICE RECOVERY
Serve as a point of leadership for member questions, concerns, and service-recovery needs. Listen carefully and respond with professionalism, empathy, and confidence. Take ownership of concerns within established authority. Empower team members to resolve appropriate concerns while providing support when needed. Escalate significant or sensitive issues to the Spa & Wellness Director. Coordinate with other Apogee Club departments when resolution requires broader support. Document relevant member concerns according to established procedures. Follow through to ensure agreed-upon resolutions are completed. Use member feedback as an opportunity to strengthen service standards and team training.PRE-OPENING RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the opening leadership team, the Spa Supervisor will assist with: Spa operational setup and readiness. Development and testing of daily operating procedures. Coordination with outsourced housekeeping. Team-building and culture development. Final pre-opening inspections and operational readiness.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, Spa management, or related field preferred. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Spa, luxury hospitality, private club, resort, hotel, wellness, or a comparable service environment preferred. Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience strongly preferred . Luxury Spa or private-club experience highly preferred. Experience with employee scheduling and daily staffing coordination preferred. Experience with Spa inventory, retail inventory, or operational supply management preferred. Strong understanding of Spa operations and member service. Familiarity with Spa scheduling, point-of-sale, inventory, and member-management systems preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional, polished, confident, warm, and tactful demeanor. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail.
