Luxury Wellness & Body Contouring Studio About The Tox The Tox is a luxury wellness and body-contouring studio specializing in our proprietary technique designed to support lymphatic and digestive activation while helping clients look and feel their best. We provide a highly personalized, elevated client experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Studio Manager to lead our Wellington location. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for the overall performance of the studio, including sales and revenue growth, team management, client experience, events and partnerships, scheduling, staff oversight, inventory, training, and daily operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, luxury hospitality, wellness, beauty, fitness, or a high-touch service environment and is comfortable managing both people and business performance. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth Take ownership of the studio's overall sales performance and revenue growth. Drive treatment, bundle, upgrade, and retail sales while ensuring the team consistently communicates available offerings to clients. Monitor sales performance, booking trends, conversion, rebooking, and client retention. Coach the front desk and treatment team on sales opportunities and client communication. Identify opportunities to increase bookings, repeat visits, referrals, and overall client spend. Work closely with leadership on promotions, outreach initiatives, and strategies to achieve monthly studio goals. Maintain a strong understanding of studio KPIs and provide regular performance updates to leadership. Studio Operations Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Wellington studio and ensure it consistently operates at a high standard. Maintain an organized, polished, clean, and luxury studio environment at all times. Manage staff schedules and make adjustments based on bookings, staffing needs, events, and business volume. Coordinate coverage for call-outs, vacations, and other scheduling changes. Provide front desk coverage approximately 2-3 days per week, or as necessary , based on the needs of the studio. Ensure opening, closing, client checkout, booking, communication, and operational procedures are followed consistently. Proactively identify operational issues and resolve them before they impact clients or the business. Team Leadership & HR Oversight Directly oversee front desk and treatment staff and create a positive, accountable, professional team environment. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees in coordination with leadership/HR. Manage employee scheduling, attendance, time-off requests, coverage, and day-to-day staffing needs. Conduct regular team check-ins and provide coaching, feedback, and performance management. Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, dress standards, service expectations, and chain of command. Escalate disciplinary, HR, or significant employee matters to leadership when appropriate. Maintain strong communication between staff and leadership. Client Experience & Retention Ensure every client receives an elevated, welcoming, and consistent luxury experience. Build relationships with clients and help create a strong sense of community within the studio. Address client concerns, service recovery, feedback, and special requests professionally and promptly. Monitor rebooking and retention and develop strategies to improve repeat-client frequency. Ensure front desk follow-up, client outreach, reviews, referrals, and reactivation efforts are being completed consistently. Events, Collaborations & Community Outreach Develop and coordinate local events, partnerships, collaborations, pop-ups, and community outreach opportunities. Build relationships with complementary businesses, fitness studios, wellness providers, luxury brands, influencers, residential communities, and local organizations. Organize studio participation in outside events and oversee staffing, supplies, setup, and follow-up. Help identify creative local marketing opportunities that increase brand awareness and generate new clients. Work with leadership and corporate marketing requirements to obtain necessary approvals for partnerships, events, and promotional materials. Training & Development Coordinate and facilitate ongoing staff workshops, sales training, operational training, and client-experience training. Conduct regular team meetings and ensure employees understand current promotions, pricing, policies, and studio goals. Identify areas where individual employees need additional coaching or development. Reinforce The Tox service standards and ensure consistent execution across the team. Inventory & Studio Organization Manage studio inventory, including retail products, treatment supplies, operational supplies, and front desk materials. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and submit or coordinate orders as needed. Monitor product usage and minimize unnecessary waste or over-ordering. Ensure treatment rooms, storage areas, front desk areas, and employee spaces remain organized and properly stocked. Reporting & Leadership Communication Report directly to leadership and maintain consistent communication regarding studio performance. Provide updates on revenue, staffing, scheduling, client feedback, events, operational issues, inventory, and other important studio matters. Execute leadership initiatives and ensure approved processes and policies are implemented at the studio level. Bring solutions—not simply problems—to leadership and demonstrate strong ownership of the studio. Qualifications Previous management or leadership experience required. Strong background in sales and revenue-driven environments required. Experience in luxury wellness, hospitality, beauty, aesthetics, fitness, spa, retail, or another high-touch client environment strongly preferred. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence working with both clients and employees. Strong sales instincts with the ability to coach others on sales and client retention. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Strong scheduling, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Comfortable handling employee issues and maintaining accountability. Professional, polished, dependable, and solutions-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Ability to work some weekends and provide front desk/studio coverage when necessary. Experience coordinating events, partnerships, or local business development is a plus.
