The Salon Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, attracting and developing talent, and creating an exceptional Abeda guest experience within their salon location. As a hands-on player-coach, the Salon Manager leads from the floor - recruiting top talent, coaching Service Providers and Guest Care team members in real time while creating a culture of accountability, growth, and performance. This role is accountable for building a thriving business through guest acquisition, retention, retail performance, productivity growth, team engagement, and executive of the Paris Parker Service Promise. The Salon Manager translates company strategy into daily behaviors that strengthen team performance, grow revenue, and elevate the guest experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Revenue Growth & Business Performance The Salon Manager is responsible for driving location-level revenue growth through guest acquisition, retention, productivity, pre-booking, referrals, and retail performance.
Responsibilities include:
Creates and executes strategies that improve revenue, guest counts, retail performance, and productivity. Monitors business trends and key performance indicators and proactively implements action plans to improve results. Establishes clear expectations and accountability around performance goals. Partners with leadership to execute strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. Builds a culture where every team member understands their impact on business performance. 2. Talent Attraction & Recruiting The Salon Manager is responsible for maintaining an active recruiting pipeline for Service Providers, Guest Care tam members, and future leaders.
Responsibilities include:
Conducts interviews, salon tours, career conversations, and candidate follow-ups. Builds relationships with cosmetology schools, barber schools, esthetic programs, and community partners. Participates in recruiting events, career fairs, open houses, networking opportunities, and industry outreach. Partners with Recruiting and Education teams to attract high-quality talent. Positions Paris Parker as an employer of choice within the beauty industry. 3. Coaching, Leadership & Team Development The Salon Manager is responsible for leading from the salon floor through observation, coaching, mentorship, and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
Provides real-time coaching that improves confidence, behavior, and performance. Conducts regular one-on-one conversations focused on growth, development, and results. Recognizes and celebrates performance achievements. Addresses performance concerns promptly and consistently. Develops future leaders through mentorship and leadership opportunities. Facilitates daily huddles, weekly check-ins, and monthly team meetings. 4. New Artist Attraction, Integration & Retention The Salon Manager is responsible for supporting successful onboarding and integration of all new team members.
Responsibilities include:
Ensures new artists receive coaching and support during their first year of employment. Reinforces professionalism, guest experience behaviors, consultation skills, retail confidence and business-building habits. Monitors productivity, retention, guest retention, and retail performance indicators. Identifies risks to success early and implements development plans. Partners with Education leaders to support career path progression. 5. Guest Experience Excellence The Salon Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of the Paris Parker Service Promise and the Service Wheel.
Responsibilities include:
Leads the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint during the service. Coaches Guest Care and Service Provider teams on hospitality, consultation, rituals, teaching, re-booking, referrals, and retail recommendations. Observes guest experiences in real time and provides immediate coaching where opportunities exist. Ensures guest experiences are consistent with Aveda-inspired hospitality and service excellence. Fosters a culture that prioritizes guest loyalty and long-term relationships. 6. Retail Performance & Guest Optimization The Salon Manager is responsible for driving retail growth through coaching, accountability, and behavior reinforcement.
Responsibilities include:
Ensures team members confidently recommend home care solutions and educates guests on product usage. Reinforces Learning Wall behaviors and product storytelling. Partners with the Aveda Experience & Retail Coach to strengthen retail execution. Monitors RPCT performance and implements strategies to improve results. Celebrates retail wins and builds enthusiasm around retail achievement. 7. Capacity Planning & Productivity Growth The Salon Manager creates and manages schedules that maximize guest access, team productivity, and business growth.
Responsibilities include:
Monitors open availability and implements strategies to fill white space. Coaches Service Providers on guest retention, re-booking, referrals, and productivity. Ensures staffing levels support both guest demand and payroll expectations. Evaluates productivity trends and adjusts business strategies accordingly. 8. Operational Stewardship The Salon Manager ensures the salon environment remains guest-ready and aligned with Paris Parker sand Aveda standards.
Responsibilities include:
Maintains merchandising, inventory, visual presentation, cleanliness, and operational compliance. Completes administrative responsibilities, reporting, and communications accurately and on time. Partners with operational support teams regarding inventory, facilities, technology, and maintenance needs. Ensures compliance with all company policies, procedures, and employment practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will supervise the Guest Care team members, Service Providers, and Service Team Leaders, where applicable.
