About us: Salons by JC We are a high-end salon suite rental business with 15 locations in the Twin Cities. We rent private salon suites to hair stylists & beauty professionals who run their own small businesses out of our suites. Because our facility is their storefront, they expect a professional, pristine, and extremely clean environment at all times. Our mission is to provide our beauty professionals, and their clients, with exceptional customer service in a high-end, inviting, and immaculate space.

About you:

You are someone who takes extreme pride in your environment. You have a hospitality mindset, an engaging personality, and a naturally positive attitude. Most importantly, you possess a meticulous eye for detail and a remarkably high standard for cleanliness. Because this role requires high autonomy, you thrive without a manager looking over your shoulder. You don't wait to be told to wipe down a counter or sweep a floor—you see what needs to be done and you take the initiative to do it. You are highly organized, comfortable driving tasks to completion on your own, and enjoy using social media (Facebook/Instagram) to promote the salon. Salon experience is not necessary, but an obsession with a clean, welcoming environment is required.

Responsibilities:

Facility Ownership & Cleanliness (Your Top Priority): Guarantee an immaculate, standard of cleanliness across all common areas, hallways, the break room, and bathrooms throughout the day. You are not responsible for the cleanliness of their private suites. Conduct continuous visual sweeps of the salon to ensure everything is perfectly in its place. Proactively manage, stock, and replenish all janitorial and hospitality supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, office supplies, etc.). Quickly identify and report any facility maintenance issues to management.

Concierge & Administration:

Warmly greet and direct clients to their respective stylist/beauty professional. Promptly and professionally answer calls, texts, and inquiries regarding services and suite leasing. Follow up enthusiastically with prospective beauty professionals interested in leasing a suite. Perform weekly clerical work, including tracking licenses and generating management reports.

Community & Culture:

Promote a highly positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for our suite renters. Regularly promote the salon and our suite renters' businesses on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. Help plan and drive attendance for salon social events, parties, and continuing education classes.

Days/hours:

Mon - Fri 9AM - 4 or 5PM (whichever you prefer)
