As a Salon Manager / Hair Stylist , you'll work behind the chair while also helping lead the day-to-day operation of the salon. Manager / Stylist

Responsibilities Lead by example behind the chair by providing high-quality, efficient children's haircuts Create a fun, welcoming, and positive experience for children and their parents Help children feel comfortable during their haircut, including children who may be nervous or unsure about the experience Support daily salon operations, including scheduling, shift coverage, and salon flow Coach, motivate, and support team members to build their skills and confidence Help maintain a positive, collaborative, and team-focused salon culture Provide exceptional customer service and professionally address guest questions or concerns Monitor productivity, efficiency, and overall salon performance Help maintain cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and Cookie Cutters brand standards Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as needed Help ensure the salon remains a fun, safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families Support salon goals related to guest satisfaction, team performance, and overall business growth Manager / Stylist Requirements Current Minnesota cosmetology or hair-styling license in good standing Previous salon, leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Genuine enjoyment of working with children Patient, energetic, friendly, and comfortable interacting with children of different ages and personalities Ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling software, and basic reporting tools Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the growth of the salon Availability to work some weekends and flexible shifts Interest in current children's haircut and hairstyle trends Reliable, professional, and committed to creating a positive guest experience Why Cookie Cutters?
