54 is a rapidly growing boutique fitness brand specializing in infrared-heated mat Pilates, strength-based movement, and reformer classes. As we prepare to open our newest location in Astoria, we are seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Studio Manager to oversee daily operations and provide an exceptional experience for every client. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with prior boutique fitness or wellness experience who is confident using Mindbody and understands membership management, client accounts, scheduling, sales, and studio operations. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Astoria studio Manage the front desk and ensure clients receive exceptional service Use Mindbody to manage client accounts, memberships, purchases, bookings, cancellations, waitlists, and attendance Process payments and assist with account adjustments and membership-related concerns Review reports and monitor membership sales, client retention, and studio performance Respond to client emails, phone calls, and membership inquiries Manage staff schedules and coordinate coverage when needed Ensure instructors and front-desk employees follow

54 policies and procedures Oversee opening and closing procedures Maintain the studio's cleanliness, organization, inventory, and overall presentation Assist with staff onboarding and ongoing training Address client and staff concerns professionally and promptly Support studio events, promotions, partnerships, and the Astoria grand opening Communicate regularly with ownership regarding staffing, performance, and operational needs Assist with time-sensitive studio matters outside regular desk hours when necessary Qualifications Previous hands-on Mindbody experience is required Must be comfortable independently navigating client profiles, contracts, memberships, sales, schedules, waitlists, attendance, and reports within Mindbody Previous management experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or a similar client-focused environment preferred Strong leadership, sales, customer-service, and communication skills Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable managing employees and holding the team accountable Able to handle client concerns calmly and professionally Able to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment Passionate about fitness, wellness, and building a strong client community Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Schedule Requirements This is a full-time position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and will primarily be built around the studio's operating needs, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Midday hours may be limited depending on the studio schedule. Availability during the studio's opening and launch period is especially important.
