Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Commack, New York is seeking a dynamic and energetic
SPA MANAGER
to lead our wellness and relaxation spa with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and manage a talented team dedicated to health, beauty, and relaxation services. Your leadership will foster a welcoming environment that promotes wellness, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong managerial skills and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.
Spa Manager Responsibilities:
Lead all day-to-day spa operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and smooth daily execution. Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of service providers and sales associates. Inspire, motivate, and hold the team accountable to individual and spa performance goals. Create staff schedules and manage shift coverage to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction. Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented culture where employees feel supported and challenged to grow. Deliver outstanding guest service by resolving concerns quickly and turning challenges into positive experiences. Drive membership growth, retention, gift card sales, and retail performance through consistent coaching and leadership. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze business results, and develop action plans to achieve financial goals. Manage payroll, budgeting, expenses, and daily cash handling while maintaining profitability. Ensure all operational procedures, safety standards, and brand policies are consistently followed. Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, product ordering, and equipment maintenance. Promote the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy, facials, and regular self-care to both guests and the team. Prepare reports on business performance, guest satisfaction, staffing, and operational metrics. Lead by example with professionalism, positivity, integrity, and a hands-on approach to leadership.
