Great Clips is looking for a highly motivated and experienced ASM Salon Manager to lead our talented team of stylists. The Salon Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves balancing administrative duties with hands-on hairstyling services, ensuring the salon meets its performance goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, motivate, and mentor the salon team to achieve sales and service targets. Conduct regular team meetings to set goals, provide feedback, and encourage continuous improvement. Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for busy periods. Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new stylists. Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional salon culture.
Customer Service and Salon Operations:
Ensure a top-tier customer experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment. Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner. Oversee the daily operations of the salon, including opening and closing procedures. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring products are well-stocked.
Sales and Performance Management:
Drive salon revenue by promoting retail products and additional services. Track salon performance through key metrics (sales, customer retention, etc.) and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets. Implement and execute promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team. Monitor expenses to ensure the salon stays within budget.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all team members adhere to Great Clips' standards, including policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to salon operations. Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working condition and arrange repairs when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous experience in salon management or similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of hairstyling, cutting, and techniques. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Strong sales and customer service skills. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cosmetology and or Barber license. Knowledge of retail sales, customer retention, and financial performance metrics. Experience working in a high-volume salon environment.
