MANAGERPosition Summary Studio Raw Elite is seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused Salon Floor Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient operation of our salon floor. This individual will help maintain our high standards of client service, support our stylists and salon team, promote positive energy, and contribute to a productive and welcoming environment built around our belief in "All Hair, All Humans." The ideal candidate understands the professional beauty industry and enjoys leading, coaching, organizing, problem-solving, and helping others grow. A cosmetology license is required. This opportunity may be especially well suited for a licensed cosmetologist who wants to remain connected to the beauty industry while focusing primarily on leadership and salon management rather than providing hair services. Key ResponsibilitiesSalon Floor Management and Client Experience Oversee daily salon-floor operations and maintain a smooth, efficient workflow. Greet and welcome clients, oversee the check-in process, and address questions or concerns. Monitor client flow, appointment timing, and client satisfaction throughout the salon. Proactively resolve service concerns in a calm, professional, and solutions-focused manner. Maintain a clean, organized, hygienic, and visually appealing salon environment. Ensure that the team follows salon policies, service standards, sanitation procedures, and safety requirements. Stylist Support and Team Leadership Coordinate with stylists, assistants, and reservationists to support daily schedules and salon needs. Ensure team members have the supplies, tools, information, and support necessary to serve their clients. Assign tasks to assistants and delegate responsibilities based on salon activity and workload. Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to maintain high service standards. Address performance concerns promptly and professionally, following the salon's corrective-action process when necessary. Assist with training and onboarding new team members. Communicate important updates, expectations, and information from ownership to the salon team. Help foster a professional, supportive, accountable, and positive workplace culture. Stylist Recruitment and Relationship Development Identify licensed stylists and emerging beauty professionals who may be a strong fit for Studio Raw Elite. Develop prospective stylist leads through Instagram, social media, industry relationships, beauty schools, networking, referrals, and other appropriate channels. Conduct thoughtful, personalized outreach that introduces prospective stylists to Studio Raw's culture, values, standards, educational support, and opportunities for professional growth. Build genuine relationships with prospective candidates without using aggressive or high-pressure recruiting tactics. Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective stylists, including outreach activity, responses, follow-up dates, and level of interest. Coordinate introductions, salon tours, interviews, and follow-up communication with qualified candidates. Work with ownership to evaluate candidates for their professionalism, talent, growth potential, existing clientele, and alignment with Studio Raw's culture. Support newly recruited stylists during onboarding and help them reach established performance and growth milestones. Participate in a recruitment incentive program that provides additional bonus opportunities when recruited stylists are hired and achieve defined employment, retention, and performance milestones. Operational Efficiency Manage salon flow to support stylist productivity and minimize unnecessary client wait times. Monitor inventory levels for retail products, professional supplies, and operational materials. Place or prepare supply and product orders as needed. Conduct regular cleaning, sanitation, and appearance checks throughout the facility. Identify operational problems and recommend practical improvements. Sales and Marketing Support Encourage the team to educate clients about appropriate retail products, services, and future appointment opportunities. Support salon promotions, community initiatives, recruiting campaigns, and special events. Ensure new clients receive thank-you cards and other designated follow-up communication. Assist in maintaining a consistent representation of the Studio Raw Elite brand and culture. Administrative Support Help maintain accurate client records and appointment information. Support appointment scheduling and front-desk operations when necessary. Process payments and handle cash transactions as needed. Respond to phone calls, messages, and email inquiries professionally and promptly. Complete general administrative duties and management follow-ups as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Active cosmetology license required. At least one year of experience in a supervisory, leadership, recruiting, or customer-service role within a professional salon or comparable high-service environment. Strong understanding of salon operations and exceptional client-service standards. Familiarity with appointment scheduling, inventory management, salon booking software, and point-of-sale systems. Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coach, motivate, support, and hold team members accountable. Professional and comfortable communicating with prospective stylists through social media and other outreach channels. Ability to build relationships and represent Studio Raw Elite's culture authentically. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with professional hair services, terminology, and products. Commitment to inclusivity, positive energy, professionalism, and the Studio Raw philosophy of "All Hair, All Humans." Physical Requirements Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the salon for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, and reach while restocking products, assisting with displays, and completing operational duties. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, including laundry baskets, supply boxes, and product cases. Recruitment Bonus Opportunity In addition to regular compensation, the Salon Floor Manager will be eligible for recruitment bonuses for qualified stylists they help bring to Studio Raw Elite. Bonuses will be awarded at predetermined milestones as each newly recruited stylist becomes established, remains with the salon, and reaches defined performance goals. Complete eligibility requirements and milestone amounts will be provided during the interview process.Pay:
