And because we believe leadership should be rewarding you can work up to 8-16 hours per week behind the chair depending on salon volume while earning 50% commission on your service sales and 10% commission on retail sold with a service. What You'll Do Create an Exceptional Client Experience You'll lead by example and set the standard for outstanding service. Provide professional hair services including cuts styling chemical services and other services across all hair types. Deliver thorough consultations and personalized recommendations that make every client feel valued. Coach stylists on creating memorable experiences that encourage rebooking referrals and long-term client loyalty. Motivate and recognize your team through consistent communication coaching and encouragement. Build an atmosphere where clients feel comfortable welcomed and excited to return. Develop and Inspire Your Team Your success is measured not only by what you accomplish but by the people you help succeed. Recruit talented stylists through social media referrals recruiting platforms local salons and cosmetology schools. Provide frequent meaningful and balanced coaching and feedback. Identify individual strengths and opportunities for growth. Create learning opportunities that help stylists advance throughout their careers. Review salon performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement. Establish priorities and action plans around productivity referrals rebooking return rates and client acquisition. Identify root causes and coach your team toward measurable results. Manage salary costs and resources to support the salon's profit plan. Set clear expectations and help your team understand how success is measured. Adapt to changing business needs while keeping the team focused on results. Own the Salon Experience From the front of the salon to the backbar you'll help ensure the salon looks feels and operates at its best. Follow SET merchandising standards and make adjustments based on salon layout. Walk the salon and backbar regularly to identify merchandising replenishment and recovery opportunities. Address or delegate product-related issues that affect the client experience. Manage backbar expenses responsibly and according to plan. Help maintain a professional organized and welcoming salon environment. Lead With Accountability As a Salon Manager you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference by setting the example. Consistently meet performance expectations for service sales product sales productivity client experience and attendance. Follow company programs hiring practices and applicable state safety regulations. Ensure team members understand expectations and have the resources they need to succeed.
