As a Salon Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional client experience. Your warm, welcoming presence will be the first point of contact, setting the tone for each guest's visit and ensuring they feel cared for from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet clients upon arrival and maintain a welcoming, professional salon atmosphere Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, email, or in-person to maximize stylist availability and client convenience Oversee front desk operations: answer calls, respond to emails, and manage inquiries with courtesy and efficiency Process transactions, manage billing, and assist with retail sales Keep the reception area and salon environment polished, clean, and inviting Assist with light salon cleaning and upkeep to ensure a consistently fresh and organized environment Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering Promote salon services, specials, and products to enhance the client experience Coordinate with stylists to manage daily schedules and address client needs promptly Collect client feedback to ensure our standard of excellence is always met Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, approachable demeanor Clear, confident, and professional phone communication skills are essential Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay self-sufficient in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with salon services or products (a plus, but not required) A commitment to professionalism, excellence, and teamwork At Gayla Hair Designs, we believe in fostering a positive and collaborative environment where every team member is supported and valued.
